Welcome! I can get anxious when thoughts causing anxiety attack my mind. Thoughts of family, health, relationships, ministry and even the heat of my 6' by 11' cell pressing in on me. But these thoughts may be nothing compared to yours. Jesus promised:
"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" (John 14:27; NKJV).
What's Your Need?
I can just imagine the many needs pressing in on your mind from moment to moment.
Needs that in no way you can provide without an intervention on your behalf. Things you need supplied by your loving Heavenly Father that your anxious heart desires. God's Word says: "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6, NKJV).
Your anxiety may drive you to go into debt, manipulate someone, even rob, steal or kill to obtain your desires. Turn to the Lord! When you turn to God in prayer, He shall supply your need as Yeshua-Jireh, your Provider. Confess God's Word out loud: "My God shall supply all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippines 4:19, NKJV). Thank you Jesus for my supply!
Admit Your Weakness!
It wasn't until I admitted my weaknesses, that I received God's strength to overcome my troubled mind. I've learned that the ". . . peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7, NKJV). I simply begin to pray the Scriptures and thank God for His peace, knowing that God's Word is Truth!
The Apostle Paul wrote: "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true . . . honorable . . . right . . . pure . . . lovely . . . of good repute . . . excellent and worthy of praise -- meditate on these things" (Philippians 4:8).
IN CHRIST . . .
• I am blessed.
• I am chosen.
• I am loved.
• I am God's child.
• I am accepted.
• I am redeemed.
• I am forgiven.
• I am an heir.
• I am sealed by the Holy Spirit.
• I am God's possession.
(Ephesians 1:3-14).
MEDITATE ON . . . "Those things which you LEARNED . . . RECEIVED . . . HEARD and SEEN in me, DO; and the God of peace shall be with you" (Philippians 4:9).
"Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I say rejoice! . . . Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in what ever state I am, to be content. I know how to be abased and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned to both to be full and to be hungry both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:4, 11-13, NKJV). Thank you Jesus for your peace and strength!
God Is My Supply . . .
Our God supplies all our need so that we can do all things to glorify Him. "I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry" (1 Timothy 1:12, NKJV). I admit that I glorified the flesh for years, but at 29, I decided to follow Jesus. I turned from the fear and anxiety of my past, to the love and peace of God. This decision brought forth a wonderful future of life and ministry for glorifying God. "Oh how generous and gracious our Lord was! He filled me with the faith and loves that comes from Jesus Christ" (1 Timothy 1:14, NLT).
He set me free from sin by forgiving me 2000 years ago at Calvary and gave me a new life. The Apostle Paul wrote: "This is a trustworthy saying . . . 'Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners' -- and I am the worse of them all" (1 Timothy 1:15, NLT). The Holy Spirit raised me up and came to live in me for a powerful ministry of salvation. What you see is what God has done over the past half century to reach the lost. The latest is what God is doing over social media to raise up an army of Christian soldiers. Won't you join by sharing the testimony of Jesus Christ with all your contacts around the world?
Jesus said: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20, NKJV). Won't you serve Jesus Christ today?
Be An Ambassador . . .
Many of you viewing this page are called to be an ambassador, representing the Kingdom of God! As ambassadors, you are a follower of Jesus Christ, sharing the Good News. "For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And He gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ's ambassadors, God is making His appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, 'Come back to God!' (2 Corinthians 5:19, 20, NLT).
I laid my life down for Christ fifty (50) years ago for a moment like this on social media. I beg you, "Come alongside us to SHARE God's love and righteousness!" "For God made Christ, who never sinned to be an offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ" (2 Corinthians 5:21, NLT).
MAKE SURE your family and friends hear this message to become right with God. It doesn't take a lot to SHARE THIS PAGE, so they can hear the Good News. "How can they CALL on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? How can they BELIEVE in Him if they have never heard about Him? How can they HEAR about Him unless someone tells them? Faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ" (Romans 10:14, 17, NLT). Share the Good News Today!
A Prayer For You . . .
JESUS, I know You sent me to the lost, but I ask that You send me like You sent the Apostle Paul, saying, ". . . to open their eyes, so they turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins [like I did] and be given a place among God's people, who are set apart by faith in Me" (Acts 26:17b-18, NLT).
Holy Spirit, I yield myself to righteousness, so that I may be a reflection of your glory and grace. That my life may be a glorious wave of living water for others to drink and catch the power of healing and the miracle of salvation. Flow from my heart Holy Spirit, so that I can ". . . do exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think, according to the power that works in me, to Him be glory in the church of Jesus Christ to all generations, forever and ever. Amen" (Ephesians 3:20, 21, NKJV).
