Happy Spring Time! A miracle can't be explained by man's wisdom. From my experience, it takes a God story! For instance, the story of creation, the virgin birth and our new birth in Christ are beyond man's explanation.
"For God, who said, 'Let there be light in the darkness,' has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ" (2 Corinthians 4:6, NLT).
Real Faith . . .
The events mentioned above have one thing in common, it takes faith to see the evidence of their reality.
There is a beautiful multicolored sunset going down outside my window over the Pacific Ocean every evening. I can see the sunset in all its glory, but not the ocean. I know it's out there, but it takes faith to see the ships. On the yard, I look out most days through the haze for the ships. Similarly, I experience God's presence daily by faith. On a clear day, I can see the ships. "For we walk by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7, NKJV).
Today, I'm awake at 2:30, writing these words to you. I trust God is speaking to my heart for your good. My desire is to share His miraculous life with you. We all act on what we believe to be reality. I believe God created life itself. We failed, but He gave New Life to us through Jesus Christ, He made forgiveness possible for everyone. That's the miracle of salvation! Gods mercy and grace rescuing us! However, you must receive His plan by faith!
"I would have lost heart, unless I believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living" (Psalm 27:13, NKJV).
Real Love . . .
I often awake early with thoughts flowing from my heart that I must write down. It's no secret that the infamy of my past interests folks looking for answers about the case. This gives me the opportunity to turn them on to what and Who made the miraculous change in my life.
I'm not seeking esteem from anyone. My mission is that your heart will be opened to God's amazing love. When was the last time someone said to you, "I love you?" God says that to you now through me! God's love is amazing! Only He can fill the void in your heart with His love that you seek from others. I know! His love is what changed my life, which I desire for you to experience as well. "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God" (1 John 4:7, NKJV).
In hindsight, the reason why I lusted after everything in the world is because God's love was missing in my heart. However, the more time I spent with true believers; I saw something in their lives that I desired for myself. It was God's love that I was experiencing through them from the Holy Spirit, JESUS and our Heavenly Father. "This is real love -- not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins" (1 John 4:10, NLT).
Real Water . . .
It's impossible to live a successful Christian life without being in the "flow". During the time of Moses, it was described as "streams out of the rock" for the children of Israel to drink, that ". . . caused waters to run down like rivers" (Psalm 78:16, NKJV). JESUS called it "living water", when speaking to the woman at the well in need of a real drink, calling it ". . . a fountain of water springing up into eternal life" (John 4:14).
This "flow" is the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives to overcome the world, the flesh and the devil by faith. Otherwise, we are flowing downstream with all the other trash, instead of upstream with God producing fruit. We are extremely lacking without God's flow in our lives. JESUS is the Vine, and we are His branches, ". . . Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing" (John 15:5).
The Lord says, ". . . choose you this day whom you will serve" (Joshua 24:15). Having made that choice in 1975, I received power to overcome the antichrists that were stealing the "flow". There is no better life, even if I were free to search the world in the jet stream. JESUS says, " He who believes in Me . . . out of his heart will flow rivers of living water" (John 7:38, NKJV). "And the Spirit and the bride say, 'Come!' And let him who hears say, 'Come!' And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely" (Revelation 22:17, NKJV).
Real Wisdom . . .
One of my deepest regrets is not tapping into JESUS and the Holy Spirit in my youth. I had every opportunity to do so, which would have eliminated most of my wrong choices. I was lacking the power of the Holy Spirit to satisfy my need for real wisdom, love, peace and joy.
Solomon knew his need when God offered him anything he desired, and he chose wisdom [2 Chronicles 1:7-10]. I'm surrounded by men who are in prison because they lacked wisdom in their decision making. Myself included! True wisdom comes from the Spirit of God. "Wisdom is the principal thing" (Proverbs 4:7a, NKJV). I walk out of my cell every morning enabled to impart wisdom to the men that God places in my path.
This is a slow process, since the majority of men have huge egos that imprisoned them, but some realize their need. Until you are willing to let go of your pride, you will continue to reject the Spirit of wisdom God offers. For example, Solomon in all his wisdom ended up being destroyed by the pride of life and the lust of his flesh, but . . .
"For our benefit God made JESUS to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; He made up pure and holy, and He freed us from sin" (1 Corinthians 1:30, NLT).
RECEIVE GOD'S WISDOM TODAY!
Admit your need -- Repent!
Believe in the Lord Jesus!
Confess Him as Lord, and
Call on Him to BE SAVED!
A Prayer For You . . .
JESUS HELP! I've had enough of trying to make it through life on my own. I want to receive Your wisdom, forgiveness and righteousness through the cross. Father, I believe You raised JESUS from the dead, and I confess Him as my Lord and Savior! Thank You JESUS for saving my soul and for giving me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You! Amen!
