February 2021
Happy Valentine’s Day! I believe that Valentine’s Day can be more than celebrating the legacy of the late Saint, rather a realization that God’s love empowers us to love others as He loved us.
“This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins… We love each other because he loved us first.” 1
A Miraculous Testimony…
Chase said, “God came to me, and I felt His presence all through me.”
“I sincerely appreciate the time you are lending to read this letter. My name is Chase, and I’m from the northern part of Georgia. I recently came across your ministry page. It caught my interest immediately because I have been struggling with myself and trying to get closer to God.
“Growing up, I was very much motivated and was heavily involved with music and motorsports. I had a dream, and my studies in audio engineering led me into the industry. Long story short, the industry wasn’t what I had hoped, plus I had recently injured my knee so I couldn’t even use sports as an escape. The tumbling down the dark hole begun and that was ten years ago.
“After countless regrets and humility, I knew it was time to do something. God came to me, and I felt His presence all through me. That’s the first time I felt like I could do this. It has been a few years now, and I’m not sober, but I’m 100 times better than I was and every day is a blessing.
“My girlfriend introduced me to Jentezen Franklin. He’s one of the only ones I can connect with, but I can’t wait to read your books and continue following your ministry. You are a true inspiration, and I will promise to be in better, healthier relations with God the next time you hear from me. Thank you and God bless! Chase, GA.”
A Miraculous Day…
A miracle is an “event that cannot be explained by known laws of nature; something that causes fascinated astonishment or admiration,” according to Merriam-Webster. God coming to us in the person of Jesus Christ “cannot be explained by known laws of nature,” and Him coming to live in us by the person of the Holy Spirit is “something that causes fascinated astonishment or admiration.
Chase called me “a true inspiration,” but without the Holy Spirit living in our hearts, we’d be that foolish wretch of a person, who “sowed to the flesh and reaped corruption” 2. Instead, he has anointed us to sow to the Spirit and reap life everlasting in the hearts of those who repent, by turning from sin to God for salvation. This is the greatest miracle we’ll ever experience in life through believing and receiving the Good News of Jesus Christ.
“So what makes us think we can escape [punishment] if we ignore this great salvation that was first announced by the Lord Jesus himself and then delivered to us by those who heard him speak?” 3
A Miraculous Month…
There are many ways to share the Good News with those around us for a miraculous month. St Francis of Assisi is known for going out to share the gospel, saying: “I may even have to use words,” meaning we share Jesus by our lifestyle. It’s equally important to know how to share your salvation, especially your testimony before Christ, in Christ, and after Christ. Plus, simply share the A-B-Cs of salvation; admit being a sinner before receiving Christ, believe in your heart unto salvation that God raised Christ from the dead, and confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ. 4 The Gospel.
Others find it easier to pass out tracts or ALMS brochures, simply sharing the testimony of Jesus Christ in my life for example. I’m believing that hundreds will purchase two-sided printers for easily printing brochures from this site for leaving in shops around town. They can be shared at church or with family and friends, even in ministry through Twitter, Facebook, and other media outlets for a miraculous month of outreach.
“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns! 5
A Miraculous Year…
This year will be 45 years of ministry for us, and the best is yet to come. We began by distributing newsletters, brochures, books, and tapes through the mail, and now, all the materials are online to freely receive. We believe the miraculous gospel is producing fruit 24/7, and that you are a big part of this outreach, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” 6
We’re so blessed to have folks like Chase and others letting us know that our labor is not in vain. We would never know the effect of this outreach unless you contact us, or me through the mail. The site should be sufficient for sharing my history. My heart’s desire is that you receive Christ, not that you understand my past. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 7
A Prayer for You…
Heavenly Father, I thank you for making this the best Valentine’s Day of my life. I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I receive Your free gift of eternal life. I thank You that when You died for me, Your blood cleansed me from all unrighteousness and the sins of my entire life; past, present, and even future sins I have not yet committed. In all my trials, I give you thanks, knowing that giving thanks for Your love and grace notifies the devil of his defeat at the cross. I commit my life to you 100% this day forward. In the Name of Jesus, Amen!
