God's Prison
Gang
"...God
deliberately chose things the world considers
foolish in order to shame those who think they
are wise. And he chose those who are powerless
to shame those who are powerful. God chose things
despised by the world, things counted as nothing
at all, and used them to bring to nothing what
the world considers important, so that no one
can ever boast in the presence of God"
(11 Corinthians 1:27-29).
There is a requirement for prisoner's testimonies
to appear as part of GOD'S PRISON GANG. They must
have done time with Charles in prison ministry.
He feels it important for him to have witnessed
these changed lives first hand. He was fortunate
to have had the privilege of even baptizing some
of these men. He is forever blessed by these changed
lives.
In this life, we find few true friends. It has
been said that we usually can count them on one
hand. Charles truly considers each one of these
men not only a brother in Christ, but a true friend.
These men have not asked personally to be placed
in this gang, but have been asked by Charles himself.
Charles will take recommendations from friends
of past inmate acquaintances. It is hoped they
find it a privilege as much as Charles does to
serve the Lord with them.
Merriam-Webster's dictionary defines 'gang' as
"a group of persons working together; group
of criminals." This gang is a group of persons
working together, but they are no longer criminals.
They know they are now accepted, secure and significant
in Christ: God's children, His friend, made righteous,
one Spirit with Him, bought with a price, belonging
to God, a member of Christ's body, even Saints.
They have direct access to God through the Holy
Spirit, redeemed and forgiven of all their sins.
These men are complete in Christ.
They are free forever from condemnation. They
are assured that all things work together for
good. That nothing can separate them from the
love of God. They are citizens of heaven and confident
that the good work God's has begun in them will
be perfected.
They have learned to find grace and mercy in
time of need. Today, they all are the salt and
light of the Earth, branches of the true vine,
a channel of His life. They have been chosen and
appointed to bear fruit, being a personal witness
of Christ.
This gang, GOD'S PRISON GANG, proclaims that
they are God's temple, ministers of reconciliation
for God, His coworkers, seated with Christ in
the heavenly realm. They are God's workmanship,
approaching God with freedom and confidence. They
can do all things through Christ who strengthens
them.
