February 2013

Welcome. Let me ask you a question: “Can I have your permission to be loved, forgiven and healed?” I hear you say, “You don’t need my permission!” That’s exactly right. Yet millions are held captive under guilt and condemnation by others for past mistakes. When freedom is readily available, Jesus said, “…you will know the truth, at the truth will set you free.” 1

Permission To Be Loved...

Like myself at one time, you may find yourself under such tremendous guilt and condemnation from others, that you need to give yourself permission to be loved, forgiven, and healed by God.

Once you receive Gods love and forgiveness, “…there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.” 2 Guilt and condemnation perpetuate the cycle of sin, whereas His grace, His blood, and His righteousness liberate and provide freedom from a sin consciousness.

Listen, the solution to healing is giving yourself permission to be loved by God, rather than trying to love yourself, which you do automatically. Remember, Jesus said:

  • “If any of you want to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” 3

Permission To Be Forgiven…

As I have over the years, you may find yourself condemned by many who don’t forgive you for the past sins. You don’t need their permission to be forgiven by God. Most likely, they don’t know God’s forgiveness themselves.

Maybe you need to give yourself permission to be forgiven by God and stop being held captive by their lack of understanding? The writer of Hebrews admonishes us, saying:

  • “Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.”4

Your forgiveness is not dependent upon other forgiving you. They are being destroyed because of their unbelief in God’s forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ.5 God has “…cast all your sins into the depths of the sea.”6 “He has removed your sins from is as far as the east is from the west.”7 He promises to “…never again remember your sins.”8 Amen!

Permission to be Healed…

A fresh revelation of God’s love and forgiveness brings forth healing - spirit, soul and body. Let me hear you say out loud: “God loves me, and I am forgiven of all my sins, because of the blood of Jesus Christ.” Shout so you can hear it in the depths of your heart. “God loves ME!”

  • “This is real love – not that we loved God [nor ourselves], but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.”9

Did you get that? God loved [past tense] us by sending His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. I’ve found that good things happen to those who know that God loves them. For myself, I’ve been healed by God’s love.

How about you? Won’t you give yourself permission to be loved, forgiven and healed by God’s love? I beg you to come out from under the guilt and condemnation of others. God loves you! He is not angry at you. He longs to heal you by His love.

Permission to Be Free…

You have a pardon from God to be released from the guilt and condemnation that has held you captive for years. Jesus said:

“So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.”`10

You may think you must earn God’s love by your conduct and doing good works before you can go free. You are not under the law, but by grace [His power] you have been truly set free to bask in His love, forgiveness and health all because the finished work of Jesus Christ. That’s the Gospel!

Stop holding yourself in bondage because of erroneous beliefs. Rise up today and declare God’s love, forgiveness and healing for you! You have God’s permission to go free – a spiritual pardon. Break out of your prison and BE FREE to bask in God’s presence for a fresh revelation of His love. Let us know of your new relationship with Jesus Christ!

A Prayer For You...

Heavenly Father, I give you permission to reveal your everlasting love to me. You say to your children: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself. “ 11 You are drawing me now to your heart, my Father. Your love is flowing through my veins. What an experience of forgiveness and healing. Your love never fails.

May I have the power to understand, as all your people should know how wide, how long, how high and how deep your love is. May I experience the love of Christ even greater, though it is too great to fully understand. May I be made complete not only in Spirit, but in soul and body with all the fullness of the life and power that comes from you, my Father.

Now all the glory to You, who is able through the Holy Spirit at wokr within me, to accomplish infinitely more than I might ask or think. In Jesus name, Amen.12
