Forgiveness
 There
are many links scattered throughout our
site on the subject of forgiveness. We are
cautioned throughout the Scriptures how
unforgiveness can damage the heart, soul
and body.
In Dr. Don Colbert's book Deadly Emotions,
he says, "Those who choose to forgive
are those who decide to give up resentment
and the desire to punish. They have a willingness
to relinquish all claims to exact a penalty
for an offense. They actually cancel the
debt they believe another person owes them."
Many prisoners have burnt all their bridges
to their families. Their families have become
victims, who hold unforgiveness in their
hearts. Our prayer is that you will read
the links offered on this site, come to
repentance and be cleansed by the blood
of Christ.
The writer of Hebrews says, "Try
to live in peace with everyone, and seek
to live a clean and holy life, for those
who are not holy will not see the Lord.
Look after each other so that none of you
will miss out on the special favor of God.
Watch out that no bitter root of unbelief
rises up among you, for whenever it springs
up, many are corrupted by its poison"
(Heb. 12:14,15 NLT).
